Alex Conu
Alex Conu is an award-winning photographer living in the Lofoten Islands, Norway. Alex in an Ambassador for the Tough line of cameras from Olympus. He is known worldwide for his astrophotography and was shortlisted multiple times for the Astronomy Photographer of the Year contest.
He is a member of TWAN – The World at Night, a program to create and exhibit a collection of stunning landscape astrophotographs and time-lapse videos of the world’s most beautiful and historic sites against a nighttime backdrop of stars, planets and celestial events. TWAN is a bridge between art, humanity, and science. Alex is a complex and versatile artist with more than 10 years in the field of professional photography. He’s been shooting almost everything from fashion and beauty to aviation. With a solid experience in advertising photography, Alex now concentrates on adventure photography. His favourite playground is the Lofoten Archipelago. Alex loves experiment in photography like Polaroids, pinhole or strange cameras.
